Devastation

The Doctrine of Ruin

Devastation was not born from duels or honor. It emerged on broken fields where lines collapsed and survival demanded overwhelming force. Siegebreakers, shock troopers, and execution squads refined this tradition through repetition and bloodshed. They learned that war is not won by elegance, but by making the enemy unable to fight back at all.

Practitioners of Devastation believe battle should feel inevitable. Every strike is meant to shatter morale, crush defenses, and leave no space for recovery. They do not outthink their enemies. They outlast and outdamage them. Armour bends. Shields splinter. The ground itself becomes a weapon.

Across Akeroth, Devastation is feared and respected. In Vin-Dithrak, it is taught to elite vanguard units trained to break shield walls.

In Batesian border wars, it is the art of ending battles before reinforcements arrive. Where Devastation walks, fights do not linger.
